Based in Toronto, I primarily write backend services and tools, favour pragmatic design, and know what it takes to get something out the door and then maintain it. I love good books, long swims, and tabletop games. If I haven't learned something new today, it was an unsuccessful day. I primarily program in python. I use C and JS where I have to, Java and C# when I'm told to, and Rust when there's no delivery timeline. I have security research experience, including a bounty for a high severity CVE in a multi-billion dollar project. AI hasn't taken my job just yet, but it sure is interesting.
